Tunis– 25-28 November 2025
From 25 to 28 November 2025, Tunis will host a landmark week dedicated to Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) and the sustainable Blue Economy, organised under the framework of UNEP/MAP – Barcelona Convention, MEDIGREEN, the MED-MSP Community of Practice, and the WestMED Initiative.
MEDIGREEN will play a central role, leading two fully booked events: the MEDIGREEN Workshop on Sustainable Planning and Management of Maritime Sectors on 26 November, focused on fisheries, aquaculture, offshore renewable energy and nature protection, and the MED-MSP-CoP 2025 Final Workshop on 27 November, bringing together experts from across the region to discuss preliminary project findings and shared approaches to MSP implementation.
Throughout the week, the project will also be present at the WestMED Stakeholder Conference on 28 November, where a dedicated MEDIGREEN booth will showcase tools, analyses, and opportunities for cooperation.
This rich programme represents a key milestone for strengthening national capacities, enhancing cross-border dialogue, and advancing coherent, ecosystem-based MSP in the Mediterranean.
