This page describes how the site is managed in relation to the processing of personal data of users who consult it.
This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code, to those who interact with the web services of CORILA – Consortium for the coordination of research inherent in the Venice lagoon system (hereinafter CORILA) accessible electronically from the address: www.corila.it.
The information is provided only for the MEDIGREEN website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links. CORILA does not exercise any control over these sites or over privacy protection policies that may differ from those of CORILA. The personal information that the user may decide to provide to third parties is not covered by the CORILA privacy protection declaration.
The information is also inspired by Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered in the Group established by art. 29 of directive n. 95/46/CE, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify some minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and in particular, the methods, times and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes of the connection.
DATA CONTROLLER
Following the consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
The data controller is CORILA, which has its registered office in San Polo 19, 30125 Venice.
PLACE AND DATA PROCESSING
The processing connected to the services provided by the site takes place at the headquarters of CORILA and is handled only by technical-administrative personnel in charge of processing, or by any persons in charge of maintenance operations.
No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated.
The personal data provided by users who forward requests for the sending of informative and non-informative material (access to the Reserved Area of the site, etc.) are used for the sole purpose of performing the service or performance requested and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary for this purpose.

The computer systems and applications dedicated to the functioning of this type of website detect, during their normal operation, some data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols) not associated with directly identifiable users, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED – OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA – METHODS OF PROCESSING
“Personal information” is any information relating to a natural person, legal person, entity or association, identified or identifiable, even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number.
The personal data collected are processed exclusively for institutional purposes, with automated tools or on paper for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
The public part of the MEDIGREEN website can be navigated without revealing your identity or providing personal information.
The reserved area can only be accessed through authentication: username and password that are issued by the site manager by providing some personal information such as the title, name, surname, telephone number and address of the organization to which they belong, the email address and the office telephone number (for example: reference project).
Therefore, the user is free to provide personal data in the forms on the site to request the sending of the newsletter or to access specific services, failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what is requested.
For completeness, it should be noted that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request news and information pursuant to art. 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, for the purposes of controlling the processing of personal data. In these cases, the response is mandatory under penalty of administrative sanction.
The personal information collected on the site will be used to provide the requested service or for the operation of the site itself. This information is not used for commercial purposes and CORILA is not authorized to transfer it for commercial purposes.
