MEDIGREEN at European Maritime Day 2026
MEDIGREEN will take part in the European Maritime Day 2026, taking place on 21–22 May 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus—one of the key annual gatherings for Europe’s maritime community.
Organised by the European Commission, together with national and local partners, European Maritime Day (EMD) brings together stakeholders from across policy, research, industry, and civil society to exchange, network, and shape the future of the sustainable blue economy. The event offers a dynamic programme of plenary sessions, thematic workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities, highlighting the diversity and importance of maritime activities across Europe.
MEDIGREEN activities
As part of its participation, MEDIGREEN will:
Co-organise a joint workshop with the sister project NESBp project on 21 May, fostering dialogue on shared challenges and opportunities in advancing Maritime Spatial Planning at sea basin level.
Welcome participants at the CINEA and DG MARE stand during selected time slots, offering insights into the project’s activities, results, and future perspectives.
